Columbia State is proud to be a participating college for Tennessee Promise, a statewide program that allows graduating high school and home school seniors the opportunity to earn a degree or certificate from a community or technical college regardless of financial status. Beginning with the Class of 2015, Tennessee Promise has Students wishing to apply for UT Promise and begin classes at UT Knoxville, UT Chattanooga, UT Martin or UT Health Science Center must complete all of the following application steps. These deadlines apply to all students who are not currently high school seniors or current UT students, including the following: Must complete the TN Promise application and service hours and be determined eligible for the program. Students must begin their post-secondary education the semester following high school at a Tennessee community or technical college in order to be eligible for the TN Promise scholarship.

TN Promise college students are now able to receive TN Promise funding for the summer 2020 term at an eligible institution without having to be enrolled full-time. This means students can receive funding if they are enrolled in less than 12 credits this summer.

Students must begin their post-secondary education the semester following high school at a Tennessee community or technical college in order to be eligible for the TN Promise scholarship. When we survey TN Promise students, many of them indicate that they are interested in careers in healthcare. We are excited to share this webinar featuring healthcare professionals from Maury Regional Health System, St Jude Children's Research Hospital and Davida.
